Hi everyone! Long time, no talk! A lot has happened since I last updated my page! Earlier in the year, we had an event called Touch A Truck at Fort Worth Academy. Third, fourth, and fifth graders had the opportunity to volunteer at this event. If we volunteered for an hour, we got tickets to a concert, Slant 45. I volunteered and went to this concert. There to perform were Jordin Sparks and Mitchel Musso. Also there was the USA's former president, George W. Bush and a former Cowboys football player, Darryl 'The Moose' Johnston. It was really fun! Here is a picture that I took of Jordin Sparks at the concert:
Another thing that has begun recently is that I am selling Girl Scout Cookies. To pick up the cookies, I had to go to the Fort Worth Zoo and wait in a HUGE line! My goal is to try and sell 800 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies. The reason I want to sell so many is because my troop is trying to raise enough money to go to Georgia next year for the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts. We will have to work very,very hard but I think we can do it if we try hard enough!
I joined cotillion recently and we just had our third class. There are six classes and they are every Thursday at 7:00. The next class is '50's Night'. Here is my outfit:
Our school went to the rodeo on Friday and it was SO MUCH FUN!! There were bull riders, cow ropers, and even clowns! There is a part of the Fort Worth Stockshow and Rodeo where people pay to have booth so that they can sell things to people. At the toy shop, this is what I bought:
